Terms & Conditions

1. Payment

As there is a significant amount of ingredients to purchase and preparation to be done before each workshop, full payment must be made at the time of booking by either card via the website or by bank transfer (BACS) to secure your spot.  If payment is being made by BACS, I will provide you with an invoice for payment. You booking is not confirmed until payment has been made.

2. Cancellations

Refunds or rebooking is not available unless cancellation / rebooking is made at least 48 hours in advance of your workshop date. Your purchase is transferable (i.e. you can ask someone to take your place) and I would need notification of this by email at contactme@lisasfarmhousekitchen.co.uk with name and contact details of the person taking your place in advance. I reserve the right to postpone workshops, for example, if there are not enough attendees or if I am poorly.

3. Gift Vouchers

You can purchase gift vouchers by emailing me at contactme@lisasfarmhousekitchen.co.uk or purchasing via my website.

Vouchers are available for the full cost of a workshop, prices of which are currently:

4-hour Sourdough - Single £90 / For Two £165

2-hour Sourdough - Single £45 / For Two £80

Indian Curry - Single £90 / For Two £165

Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

The gift voucher will be posted to you and will include instructions of how to book.

4. Health & Safety

Please wear flat, non-slip, closed toe shoes or trainers. Aprons will be provided and must be worn.

Long hair should be tied back for your own safety. If you normally wear glasses or a hearing aid, please ensure you bring these with you.

If you are attending a workshop and have an open wound, you should wear a ‘blue’ catering plaster which must entirely cover the wound. Blue plasters are available.

Please do not attend your workshop if you are unwell, especially if you have a cold, cough or diarrhoea. This is for your own safety and the safety of others.

Workshops are suitable for ages 16+. However, under 18’s are required to have an adult present for the duration of the workshop.  It is free for the adult to attend unless they wish to participate and if the workshop includes a lunch, the attending adult will be included!

I reserve the right to ask participants to leave the workshop if they are behaving in an unsafe or unacceptable manner without a refund.

5. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

My kitchen is used as a family kitchen when I am not giving lessons, where all kinds of foods are prepared. As such, I regret that I cannot accept bookings from individuals who have allergies as I cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.

Allergens include:

Gluten, celery, all nuts including peanuts, crustaceans, eggs, fish, mustard, sesame, sulphites, molluscs, lupin, soya and milk

I am able to cater for vegetarians.

By making a booking and paying for a workshop, you confirm that you agree to the above Terms & Conditions.
