If you want to learn how to make delicious authentic Indian curry, then you'll love this workshop where you'll create a sumptuous starter and mouthwatering main. Pea ball starters (AKA kocheri - amazing little pastry balls filled with a savoury, sweet, spicy pea mixture and deep fried) and lamb curry main are dishes of the day, all made from scratch by you in my kitchen together with coriander chutney and chapatis. You'll make enough to feed 2 people and will take your curry home with you to enjoy later. Note, rice not included.

Please bring suitable container to transport your dishes home. Foil takeaway containers with lids will be available. 

What You'll Learn

Join my Indian Curry Workshop, where you’ll create two delightful dishes: a starter and a main course along with traditional chapatis and coriander chutney - all for you to take home and enjoy later. You’ll discover a variety of simple spices that bring my traditional family recipes to life, and each course will be made completely from scratch. It’s a fun and interactive experience, providing you with hands-on skills in preparing and cooking an authentic curry and accompaniments.

Price includes recipes, all ingredients, equipment*, apron and refreshments including beer or wine or soft drinks, teas & coffees.  

Please note that all meat and vegetables are fresh and of the highest quality, sourced from the local butcher and grocery shop.

*Please bring suitable containers to transport your food home.  Foil trays with lids will be available.

Important Information

I do ask that you wear flat non-slip shoes or trainers with no open toes and to tie back any long hair for your own safety.

As there is a significant amount of ingredients to purchase and preparation to be done before each workshop, full payment must be made at the time of booking online, or by bank transfer if booking by phone or email at least 48 hours in advance to secure your booking. This enables me to plan and purchase ingredients accordingly.  If you wish to book a workshop less than 48hrs in advance, please contact me to ensure I am able to source the ingredients in time.

Refunds or rebooking is not available unless cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of your booking. You may transfer your session if you are unable to attend and do not qualify for a refund.

My workshops are suitable for individuals aged 16 or over, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No payment for the adult to attend is required unless they wish to participate. 

I have Level II Food Safety & Hygiene Certification so you can be sure of a clean and hygienic environment as well as a warm welcome!

My kitchen is used as a family kitchen when I am not giving lessons.  As a result, various food products are handled in my kitchen therefore I cannot guarantee that the dishes you prepare will not contain ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction.

This includes: 

Gluten, celery, nuts including peanuts, crustatians, eggs, fish, mustard, sesame, sulphites, moluscs, lupin, soya and milk.
